Laurel
Belgian Style
For Normal People
Darn tasty Belgian Strong
For Beer Lovers
This effervescent beer was fermented cold to suppress a heavy belgian character, resulting in a light bodied, dry ale. Citrus aromas come from the addition of orange peel and coriander, and the spicy, bitter bite from Ekuanot and Sterling hops. A higher ABV brew that is deceptively refreshing. Originally called Le'Rual, Laurel is the same recipe but inoculated with Brett. The most recent batch was brewed in the Summer of 2016 and put into barrels with half of the batch inoculated with Brettanomyces bruxellensis and the other half with Brettanomyces Lambicus. Release date for this beer will be in 2017.
